We use a mat system because our experience has shown us that it is far less likely to fail where others do. No more lifting or curling edges. Which can cause very risky trip hazards.

Repairing the truncated dome:

Another great benefit of the mat system is that it can be repaired when necessary. The mat is very durable but, if it gets destroyed or damaged by new construction or misuse, it can be repaired. Also the mat can be repainted easily allowing it to look fresh and clean year in and year out. There are very few truncated systems that can claim that, and the ones that can are very expensive.
